This site is run by Qian “Dan” Qiao, trading as NevadaSYSTEM. It is a small music site: there are no accounts, no logins and nothing to buy. This page describes what is collected anyway, and by whom.
What this site collects directly
Nothing. There is no server-side database, no contact form that posts here, and no account system. If you email an address listed on this site, that email is handled by our mail provider in the ordinary way, and is kept only as long as it is useful to answer you.
What third parties collect
The site loads analytics and advertising tools that set cookies and record your visit. These run as soon as a page loads.
- Google Analytics 4, via Google Tag Manager — pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device and browser, and how you arrived.
- Meta Pixel — used to measure and target advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
- TikTok Pixel — used to measure and target advertising on TikTok.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and records aggregate performance and security data. Cloudflare sees the IP address of every request as a necessary part of serving it.
- Google Fonts — typefaces load from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page renders.
Each of these companies is an independent controller of the data it receives, and handles it under its own privacy policy.

The mailing list
If you enter an email address in the “Hear it first” box, it is sent to Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which runs the mailing list. Kit stores your address and records whether you open what is sent. Your address is used to send occasional notes about new records — it is not sold, and it is not passed to anyone else. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you immediately.
Turning this off
You can opt out without contacting anyone:
- Block or delete cookies for this site in your browser’s settings. Everything above stops working; the site itself is unaffected.
- Install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on to disable Google Analytics everywhere.
- Adjust advertising preferences directly with Meta or TikTok.
- Most browsers offer a “block third-party cookies” setting that covers all of the advertising tools at once.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, EU or EEA, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how it is used, and to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California, you have comparable rights, including the right to know and the right to delete. This site does not sell personal information.
Because this site holds nothing itself, most requests are faster made directly to the company concerned — Google, Meta, TikTok or Kit — since they hold the data. For anything to do with the mailing list, or if you are not sure where to start, write to hello@vasarecords.com and it will be handled.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and no data is knowingly collected from them.
Changes
If the tools on this site change, this page changes with them and the date at the top moves. There is no notification list for updates to this page.
